Pre-Teen Camp: This camp program will capture all the traditional fun of our youth camp with the addition of some age-appropriate Teen Camp Activities. Interactive workshops will focus on increasing personal responsibility and accountability, building positive self-esteem and healthy relationships and decision making skills.

Teen Camp - LIT (Leaders in Training): This program is geared for teens who love camp and want to spend two full weeks experiencing traditional camp activities while developing and improving their leadership skills. Participants will attend interactive workshops with peers and supportive staff in addition to venturing off-site for a one or two-night camping adventure. LITs will also take responsibility to develop and organize some camp activities.

Teen Camp - CIT (Counselors in Training):
Teen Camp - CIT (Counselors in Training): Our CIT program is designed to provide valuable experience for mature teens. Through interactive trainings, open discussions, and hands-on experience CITs will have the opportunity to learn about being a camp counselor. These experiences will include a week of interactive workshops dealing with risk management, leading games, conflict management, child behavior, professionalism, etc. After completing these workshops, our CITs will depart on a two or three-night camping adventure. When they return, CITs will be placed with their own cabin group for a full week under the supervision of a Counselor and the Youth Camp Coordinator. CITs serve as role model, help mentor campers, and lead basic camp activities.

The Flag - 2009  Yearly recursive event
Plan to join us in July 2,3, & 4 as we present the 21sst annual Singing Flag. Many have made it a family tradition. Make it yours! Show Starts at 7:30 PM Playland & Concessions open at 4 PM The Flag is the best place in Concord to see an exciting aerial fireworks display! Kick-back on your blanket and enjoy the show! Seating Information: People will be arriving no earlier than 6 AM each day to lay down a blanket in the spot they wish to see the performance. NO PLASTIC TARPS, ROCKS, BRICKS, or HIGH BACK CHAIRS PLEASE. All blankets and chairs will be removed nightly if left behind. Concessions: We have a full concessions stand & BBQ--featuring BBQ hamburgers, hot dogs, polish dogs & tri-tip sandwiches. French fries, chicken strips, nachos, corn dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and more. We also have shaved ice and specialty coffees. Preparing for the21st season, The Flag is a patriotic two hour musical salute to America. With a cast & choir of over 150 people, this free event is a family-oriented celebration of our country and its people. Through music, dance and drama, our show includes encore audience favorites, movie and TV spoofs, a celebration of our faith, and a salute to the military. The evening culminates in a fantastic aerial fireworks show. National recording artist, Tony LeBron returns as our guest soloist this year along with Bay Area favorite radio voice, Brian Rhea. Shows are scheduled for July 2nd, 3rd, & 4th. Come out and enjoy the park, the weather, and each other. Playland USA and more... Afternoon activities include an expanded Playland U.S.A. for the kids, and a huge concession stand. Or you can bring your own food and picnic. Afternoons are a great time for families to come to the park to relax, eat and play! Giving To the Community: Calvary Temple provides The Flag every year as a free gift to our community, It is very costly to present this show and we depend on the support of our local businesses to help us offset the costs incurred from the city, advertising and production costs, additionally, donation boxes are on location during all performances, and donations are gratefully accepted. Fourth of July Jubliee and Parade
The Todos Santos Business Association (TSBA) presents the annual 4th of July Julilee and Parade in downtown Concord. Featuring a pancake breakfast at 8 am, a 5K Concord POA-sponsored charity runlive entertainment, great food, beverages, and crafts. This year's parade steps off at 11:30 am, so arrive early, stake-out that perfect seat, and spend the day with us. Celebrate, Remember, and Fight Back on July 12, 2008, Mt. Diablo High School. Each year, across the nation, one event brings together entire communities to take part in the fight against cancer. That event is the American Cancer Society Relay For Life®. It’s a time and place where people come to celebrate those who have survived cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and fight back against a disease that touches too many lives. The area's premier competitive soccer club, Diablo FC, is hosting its 6th annual Diablo FC Summer Classic in Concord July 25-27, 2008. Tournament is for U11, U12, U13 and U14 boys and girls age groups (2008-2009 season age groups). 3 days of tournament play in Concord on excellent fields with great weather.
